Plates
All stoneware plates are fired in the kiln at temperatures between 1100 - 1300 degrees celsius. This creates a non-porous body that can then be glazed. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Please avoid moving any stoneware item from very cold (freezer) to very hot temperatures as this could induce cracking. Due to the nature of the firing process each plate will have it's own unique characteristics in colour, shade and texture.
