Organic shaped stoneware mug from the calming Limfjord collection by Broste Copenhagen.

This small collection is inspired by the Limfjord inlet in Denmark, with its curvy coastline and the limestone that is revealed under the water.

The series is designed with the organic shapes of the seabed in mind.  The soft tones resemble the nuances of mussels, oysters and cockles.  

Each piece is unique, finished with a reactive glaze, giving the ceramics a soft finish like watercolours.

The glaze responds to the shifts in the firing process resulting in different textures and colours.

The series consists of mugs in three different shades across two sizes and three sizes of plates; they all fit like a charm with other collections from Broste Copenhagen, or they can take centre stage to create a tranquil and rustic table setting.
